Young Swimmer Airlifted From Ardmore Beach

 

A young swimmer has been airlifted to hospital after getting into difficulty in Ardmore beach this afternoon. The Coast Guard helicopter responded to the incident and landed on the beach. The crew were assisted by the local by the fire service. The Casualty was flown to Waterford Airport and transferred to UHW by Ambulance.
